Business Development Manager – Frozen Fruits (Hybrid) – International Food Europe – Rotterdam

International Food Europe B.V (IFE) is looking for a driven and hands-on Business Development Manager – Frozen Fruits. We are a frozen fruit trade company based in the Netherlands with customers in the industry, wholesale, foodservice, and retail sector. You will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and proactively seeking new clients. We are looking for someone with an existing knowledge of the market and know how to leverage it to promote the growth of our company. As a Business Development Manager, you are self-reliant, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills. You are capable of advising customers and assisting them in finding the right products that meet their needs. You can identify and capitalise on opportunities, translating them into tangible results. Securing new commercial opportunities Proactively seek new customers and markets to develop and grow our business. Maintain existing customer relationships through regular communication and visits. Analyse market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with other departments within the company to achieve sales objectives. Prepare reports and presentations on department and company performance. Key aspects Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fresh/frozen fruit trading. Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch. German/Spanish is a plus. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Analytical skills to identify market trends. Results-oriented and proactive. Able to work independently and prioritize tasks. Flexible and stress-resistant.
